We're going to have to go in another direction with the poll. There was limited support for the original concept, so, if you actually voted that, would you honestly be fine with another option? If so, vote for it.
Benefits for no draft:
You get the original squad and get to show off your skills, and prove why you are better than Pat Gillick or the hosers who used to run KC.
Benefits for keeper draft:
Let's say we limit ourselves to 1-3, the draft will be good and we get to keep players we like or want to build around from the team we have chosen. Draft order would be determined by how good the players you kept are. So there is a chance it could reflect a real-life order, or maybe not. Depends. You wouldn't be forced to keep anyone, and if you didn't, that's an automatic high pick. If multiple people don't keep players, we'll do what the NBA does.
Benefits for complete auto draft:
No one knows who they'll get, it's that simple. As Providence A's has pointed out, the computer does not always draft by need. In fact, many times you have no idea what the hell the computer was thinking. But with that, you'd actually have to work on your team instead of sitting on a gold mine. Could this result in a lot of trades? Sure, more the merrier, the TC is ready to roll.
