Ok...I see what you guys are talking about. BOSI is wrong. The reports show the injuries at 1 week now. You will be able ot see that once the reports update.

Any thoughts? It's based more on potential of the team. Major leagues considered most of course, but with the lower teams the minors were included.

Personally my team is better than 16th.

are there typically differences between the league reports site and the BOSI file when you open it up in OOTP? For example Bobby Thigpen was a 3.0 star as a MR, I changed him to a closer and he became a 4.0 star. In the game itself it says he's 4.0 stars, but checking the league reports site it says he's only 2.5 stars. Also to average pitching specs that were 2.5 and 3.0 in the game show as 5.0 on the site now...I know that's not right

So which is accurate? The game, right? since that's the file Crazy is using to sim and such...

Stars suck. I don't even pay attention to them. Cause I've seen 5.0 star players suck, and 1.0 star players have all star years.

It can vary from in game and the reports. Especially if you are using a different version. I use OOTP 6.12 and see some different star ratings than the reports that were made via OOTP 6.5. It doesn't matter though, it won't affect the players at all. Stars are only a way for OOTP to sort players.

Typically if you change an MR to closer his star rating will increase. Closers just seem to garner higher star ratings. A 3.5 MR would become a 4.5-5.0 closer. At least that's the way it is in my league. I run OOTP 6.

I think Milwaukee is too low...Savannah too high, the SP isnt deep enough to make him #1

right, I changed a few pitchers from starters to reliever and thigpen from reliever to closer like I said...it makes sense that the rating would change because that could be a better role for that player. I noticed hitters change if you change their position or make them a DH. Thanks for the replies

There's no way Cooperstown is better than Milwaukee.

Where would you put Savannah? I couldn't find a clear #1 really. His team is good and won the AL East by a wide margin last year so I figured he'd get top spot. St. Louis doesn't have the offense of a #1 either. And yeah, I thought I may have put Dave's team a bit low, but I didn't notice a whole lot that changed with his team. The teams ahead of him added a peice or two or were just ahead already.

Offense is comparatively the same and the rotation is the same. Sure Witt is a little better than Zambrano, but I like the monster outfield in Cooperstown to go with Pujols at first. That's just what I thought gave him the edge. It was a toss up.
