They are included with the rest of the free agents. A player will state if he will sign a mlc, and then he won't even listen to offers. You can state whether you will only offer a minor league contract to a certain player though.

Pascual Moreno, Dontrelle Willis, Dan Meyer, Brandon Backe, Evan Miller.

With that bullpen I have. I like my chances in the Mountain divison.

Heh. I wouldn't worry about it to much. You got the cap room and plus, they're not horrible minor leaguers anyway.

oh I know...I was joking because I assumed he was referring to the Backe and Sadakuno signings, but he had quoted the whole thing with my 2 minor league signings

Yah, I know I'll probably get crap for the Sadakuno signing. A player like him, an all around player like him, is just too amazing to pass up at any price.

Yea, as I said I wanted him, but I'm glad I didn't get him for that much. I got a little carried away...once I passed $12 Mil for 3 years I started to have regrets...I thought $12 Mil for 3 years would have been a fair deal. My OF is just so weak. Even if I get another player I want through waivers, my OF is full of stopgaps until I can get anyone above average really.

I feel a lil guilty giving that much to him. But 26 yrs old, good contact and eye, great speed and defense. I say he'll be worth it.

well, as Dave said that's about 1/5 the entire cap...I don't think any one player is worth that JMO...

  14. #74
Well I can afford that. If it ever becomes a problem, I have options of creating some cap room.
