Friday beat me over in the nflforums, so I'm beating him here.
To the enemy he goes. Suppose the patriots go after Vanderjagt, lol?

They already are talking to Vandy.
creepy.
That would be really weird for the next Pats/Colts game

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
Did he sign a contract, or did he sign an offer sheet?
Contract. He's a free agent since the Pats didn't tag him or anything at all.
So much for Green Bay getting a great free agent to keep Favre happy...
I'm happy for Indy.
I hope Vanderjagt can stick it to Indy in the future

you know what would be ironic. VanderDumbass misses a FG to win the game in the snow at Foxboro. Indy comes back with a drive and win with a Vinateri FG from 49 yards. With the help of a tuck rule that goes in Peyton Mannings favor.
2003 Hybrid World Champion (115-47 reg season, 11-4 playoffs)
TBL: Anaheim Angels 2006-present (238-244 regular season, 1 division title)
MSL: St Louis Cardinals 2013-present (2734-2936 regular season, 5 division titles, 2 championships)
TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)
That wouldn't be ironic.
What would be ironic is if Adam Vinatieri missed a 28 yard field goal with 15 seconds left to cost the game, because he just makes those, and irony is the opposite of what is expected.
That would just be a gigantic ball of coincidence.
Hopefully Pats don't get Vanderjagt. The guys a moron and isn't needed on the Patriots. Bellicheck is pretty good about playing on players strengths. Vinatieri is getting up there in age, and who knows how much longer his leg will last. But I do wish him good luck with the Colts, and I will say that Vinatieri is a great clutch kicker. Colts are definitely better with him.
Nobody is going to be worried about how long a kicker's leg lasts, ever.
Even at 45 years old a kicker can be worthwhile because the accuracy is still there.
Plus, at 35 going on 36, Vanderjagt's still not to the point of regression for leg strength (it seems to fall a little closer to 40)
Yeah, just look at the kicking Andersons. (I know Morten's last name is spelled with an "e", as in Andersen, but its close enough).

I know bout the Andersons, but I'm sure it's definitely hard work for them to keep themselves in shape still. You know, Andersons wanted to play that long. Maybe Adam V. doesn't.
Hmm... So now when Pey-Rod chokes away another big game, he won't be able to blame it on te "idiot kicker".
I don't think the Pat want anything to do with Vandershanjk.
papers here in NE say the Patsies are looking at Paul Edinger.
