    NFL News and Notes

    The Bengals sign WR Antonio Chapman to a 2 year deal. They also (reportedly) offered QB Brian Griese a 2 year deal.

    The Bills sign QB Craig Nall to a deal.

    The Eagles release QB Mike McMahon.

    The Lions have unofficially ended the Joey Harrington era. A team official said that Harrington is "not with the team."

    Commissioner Paul Tagliabue will retire in July.

    Wonder where Harrington will go, but it's nice to see him leave Detroit. He has talent, no doubt about it, but sometimes he just made the most stupid decisions. Hopefully a change of scenery will do him well.

    The Lions will be better off without him having Kitna, King, McCown, and Orlosvky(sp?).
