Wichita State by 20.
So much for the Big East deserving a 9th team, their 8th is being blown out by a mid major...
*God I hope this keeps up*

#4 BC and #13 Pacific are tied at 34 going into halftime.
I smell upset.

BC is starting to pull away, it was just tied and now they are up 7.
Pacific within 5, 43-38 with 15 M to play.

How about the idea that maybe the wrong 8th team was picked by the committee?Originally Posted by Witlon
I think UC would have offered a more competitive matchup in a 1st Round game against someone than Seton Hall has.

Seton Hall is getting owned by a team from the Missouri Valley Conference!

The MVC isn't as bad as some seemed to think all year long.
The RPI and its various facets continued to indicate it was a good conference all year long. Those who ignore statistics are the ones who didn't think it was a pretty good conference this year.

Yeah, but the way the RPI was calculated got screwed up last year, so I don't trust it as much as in past seasons.
However, its still not the ACC. Its the Missouri Valley Conference. The worst team in the Big East should dominate that conference.

There are some talented teams in that conference. (The new RPI I actually like. It gives more weight to road wins, which should be the case, IMO).
In other news, it's disturbing to hear of the issues going on in the San Diego regional.

the MVC has had a team in the Sweet 16 last 3 years i believe with Creighton, Southern Illinois. Their Conference RPI is lower than the Pac-10's. Its not a cupcake conference.Originally Posted by redsfan28

I didn't say its a cupcake. All I am saying is that everyone seems to think they are the ACC or Big Ten. Even South Florida (which one 1 game TOTAL in the Big East) would probably be the champs of the Missouri Valley Conference.
Oh, btw, whoever left that suspicious package needs to be hung by their package. You don't delay the NCAA tournament.

I definitely don't agree about South Florida. There are some legit. teams in the MVC. South Florida would be pasted by them.

BC's center just fouled out with 4 and a half left. BC is only up 2!
