No Iverson = stupid. Get Arenas off there, Iverson is better than him and they play the same style.

Nice to see some shooters like Redd and some defensive specialists like Bowen and Battier. At least the USA are planning this time.

    Ugh. Why Ridnour.
    And no Duncan!
I'd rather have Raja Bell over Joe Johnson.

Duncan turned it down or something. He's got other fish to fry.

Duncan threw a hissy fight after the Olympics and called the international rules 'stupid' and vowed to never play again.

It's unbelievable how horrid of a decision it was to leave Iverson off the team. He was the only guy to show up to the Olympics it seems, said all the right things about the team and his country after the games, and is having the best year of his career. Throw in the fact that it is unlikely that Billups plays and this decision sucks (unless K lets Wade, LeBron, or Kobe play PG).

I'd go with Wade, LeBron, Kobe, Amare, and Howard in the starting lineup. Then I'd have Arenas, Paul, Marion, Battier, Brand, Miller, and Bosh on the bench. It sucks that all the shooters are declining to play.

After the 2004 Olympics, Duncan said he would never play another FIBA game in his life because he was getting hacked so bad with no calls.

I don't think Nash will play for us, but at least we might have a chance to get Dalembert.
Although he said its too early to make a commitment, Philadelphia center Samuel Dalembert is considering playing for Canada's basketball team in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Although Dalembert was born in Haiti, he is eligible to play for Canada because his mother, Yurose Raymond, is a Canadian citizen.

    Luke Ridnour, Seattle?!?!?!

You might as well cuff him with Antonio Daniels cause he isnt making the team. Hell they traded to get Earl Watson.

What would be your ideal starting line-up?

    Now, here is something funny..

"I do think that one criteria is that you should have won a playoff series," Webber said yesterday. "How are you going to compete if you haven't played in a playoff series, or you haven't gone to the Final Four or Sweet 16 or anything like that?... You're going to learn on the biggest stage of the world."
Chris Webber is apparently upset he was not invited, which is funny in itself. But saying they should only send winners, when he might be the biggest loser in the league is really funny.

LOL, give Chris a break, he was under the impression that there are unlimited timeout's in international play.

You could sense the timeouts joke coming a mile away.
