Mmm.. needed one of these threads.
How about 2 pro-bowlers, Kris Jenkins and Javon Walker, getting an ACL injury in their first game and now both are out for the season.

How bout them Bills? Losman had a good game not turning the ball over, throwing for a TD, and being pretty effecient.
How about the New York Football Giants dominating the Arizona Cardinals in every facet of the game? Willie Ponder running back a kick for a TD and the immortal Chad Morton running back a punt to the endzone. Burress had 6 grabs and a touchdown, Tiki Barber and rookie big man Brandon Jacobs scored touchdowns, and Eli Manning...well, he looked OK, but he's still a rookie so we'll give him some time. Great job by the Giants after falling behind 13-7 and looking dead to explode in the second half. Tom Coughlin had his guys prepared for this game and they did a great job in the second half, especially the defense, sacking Warner 3 times, picking off 2 passes, and letting the Cardinals get under 2 yards per carry. It's reason to be excited for Giants fans right now...the offense finally has a handful of playmakers (Barber, Jacobs, Toomer, Burress, Shockey), the defense is improved with MLB Antonio Pierce and rookie CB Corey Webster, and the special teams looks pretty good with Ponder, Morton, solid kicker Jay Feely and long-time great punter Jeff Feagles. If the Giants can avoid another huge injury-packed year, look for them to have a good season...they always seem to do well when expectations aren't too high.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
As for the Packers...we're just going to pretend they never played. 6-10, here we come...

Who-Dey! That's all I've got for now.
The Simpson family gathers around, as Homer places Bart's passed test on the fridge.)
Homer: We're proud of you, boy.
Bart: Thanks, Dad. But part of this D-minus belongs to God.
Hehe, Trotter was ejected pre-game.
I'm happy with week 1. Pats won, Jets looked like crap, and although I would have liked Denver or Houston to step up, it could be worse.

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
Giants ****in Own. How about that?

nice to have confirmation the bears offense truly does suck.

How about that Colts defense? #1 in the NFL, allowing a meager 5.3 points per game. Oh, and Dwight Freeney is a beast.
Nice Broncos win tonight with some utter domination. Hope Champ and Rod aren't hurt bad though .

Harrison out for the rest of the season. Sniffle...Sniffle....damn the Steelers. Why'd they have to go and hurt our best defensive player.
I'd like to say that Texans officially suck, and even being a fan of Capers, he's not head coaching material.
