Alright, lets get this show on the road. You know the rules: three points for a good answer, four points for a great answer...bonus points applied if necessary. Ten topics...one winner.. Mission, Slyder, Husker, ATL...HORN ME!

We start the show today by NOT talking about TO for once; instead we take a trip to the Flip-Flop store, otherwise known as BarryBonds.com. He now says he wants to play after flip-flopping around God knows how many times. Felipe is glad he's feeling better, saying "I'm glad he's feeling better..." Okay...so, what's your take on Barry and what should he do? Around the Horn to Slyder.

Barry has always been the center of attention in SF and MLB since his pursuit of the HR titles (single season and career) and I am among the ones who ahve said who cares for sometime now.
He is doing all the flip flopping because he knows what it will mean, it will get all the talking heads to bring his name up at the start of shows across the nation. My own opinion is the Giants suck and are out of the race, Bonds will start fresh (and clean) in 06. Inspite of his age he still has one of the best hitters eyes in baseball and one of the better swings. He will be back, just not this year.

Mission?

At this point, does it even matter what Bonds does? The Giants are out of it, even in the weak NL West division so it doesnt really matter now. But I guess for Barry's sake, he will have the chance to crush some longballs off some September callups looking to get some positive rep by going against Bonds so the record chase will continue which again, good for Barry. But this is a crazy thought, how about Bonds learns to talk to his manager? So he has the time to have his webpage updated but not to give his manager a call? Alou had to hear or rather read about the news via a printout from Bonds website and this is just wrong. Bonds needs to set an example as a leader and not one as an egomaniac.
