Over, he has already started in 10 games and I suspect he will talk the Cubbies into letting him start again after he has tossed it around in the bullpen for awhile. The Cubbies will let him because Dempster is working out as a closer, you simply can't use an arm like Woods' in middle relief

Under, he'll spend the year in the pen. NEXT!

Over/Under: Alex Smith throws for 16 TDs this season.

under, we can't forget how tough it is too make the jump from the college ranks to the NFL. Eli struggled, he only through 6 touchdowns in 9 games, why should I expect for Alex Smith to come in and average more than 1 touchdown a game? He doesn't have the receivers to throw to......yet.

Under, he'll get 11 or so, with 17 picks. He might even be beat out by Rattay the first few games.

Over/Under: Reds win 75 games this season.

Over, all they have to do is play right around .500 ball for the rest of the year and with their bats, they'll do it. But not by much

Under. 70, quit being such a homer, Wilbon.

Over/Under is OVER. Time to take our final break.

Happy time! Happy return to the Majors, Gabe Kapler! Your last game at Triple-A will likely be Friday, and you will then be called up to the majors as the s0x's 4th outfielder.

Gabe who, you haven't done anything for awhile. He hit .224 for the Rockies for crying out loud. Sorry Sox fans he is not the answer

Happy Trails, John Madden! You're officially off MNF, and Al Michaels is still in. Michaels, who will also appear on ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown, NFL PrimeTime and SportsCenter, will be joined by analyst Joe Theismann (Taking Madden's place) in the booth, with Suzy Kolber and Michelle Tafoya reporting from the sidelines. Good move by ESPN?

oh yes, but Madden will still be around as ESPN will continue to show his video game clips for Sports Center, and NFL matchup.

Happy Trails Lance Armstrong, you just won your 7th straight Tour and now you are retiring, you are the greatest single dynasty ever.

No, he's not. He's a dude with a bigger heart than anyone else..literally. Armstrong's heart is 23% bigger than the average human being's.

Happy 41st birthday Sandra Bullock! You've aged like fine wine over the ages and still look damn sexy.

yes she does, but not as sexy as my girl Ashley Judd.

Happy Trails to John LeClair and Tony Amonte and all other overpriced veterans, you have all just been cut by your respective teams. What about that Tony?

    Peace! I won't miss them!

Running out of show, we go to the big finish!

Matt Clement left tonight's game in the third inning on a stretcher, after taking a line drive off his head. Should s0x fans be worried?

yes, anytime a line drive gets hit off your head you should be worried about the player.

Ricky Williams ran for 20 yards on his first Camp Run, is that a sign of things to come

  15. #30
Yeah, he'll be their first down back, nothing more.

Joe Johnson says he is going to sign Atlanta's offer sheet and no one is sure if the Suns will match it or not. Should they?
