I was a kid when they were dominant in the 90s. Emmitt Smith is the real reason, I remember watching him just run all over teams. My family tried to get me to be a Bears fan, but I wasn't having it. Arkansas win + Alabama win = Arkansas vs Alabama rematch in National Championship
LSU win plus Alabama win = Sugar Bowl consolation prize with the Alabama vs LSU rematch
LSU win plus Auburn win would probably be the only scenario resulting in Arkansas not getting a BCS bowl.
All of the above assumes Georgia doesn't pull off the upset to win the SEC in any scenario, of course.

What a joke it would be if Georgia were to pull off the upset to win the SEC and whichever team between LSU and Alabama that didn't play in the SEC title game were to get in to the National Championship by default.
