Re: NBA Free Agents: Where are they going?

To be honest, I don't hold the knicks, or lakers, or celtics in content as I do with...let's say the Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Redskins(although it never ever works for them), or Cowboys. I think the NBA sees a lot more trading, and a lot more stupid trading. The lakers got away with murder on the Gasol deal, but so many other teams had the opportunity to make a crazy deal like that. The knicks can buy buy buy but they haven't mattered since Spree and Camby days. They keep taking on bad contracts, and bad chemistry players, it was inevitable that they would be stuck for awhile. They just have to learn from their mistakes.

That really didn't work out. Dang.

Remember the hype on Macej Lampe?

I wonder who winds up with Nate Robinson? I hope it's like a bad team with limited options in the back court. It's fun watching him score 30 points despite being as tall as Yao's knees.

maciej lampe was hilarious. he was sitting in the green room all night, looking like he was about to cry. the best thing that ever happened in his career, is he was the first player ever drafted by a new york team, that actually got cheered when he came up on stage. that was the last time he got cheered, too.

I vote for Phoenix as the backup backcourt. That would be amazing. Boykins to Nate Rob, for threeeee! Throw in Admunson and Dudley and that's funnnnn 2nd string

The Knicks deserve to suck because of Spike Lee.

Still holding a grudge after he called you a redneck and accused you of being a clan member? Why should anyone care about the celebrities that cheer for each team?

forget it... bucher made it up as a hypothetical thing, and real gm ran with it.

How about to Cleveland then. I don't think he'd go there, unless Lebron was resigning. Toronto could then go for Hickson or picks.

    Mario Chalmers sucks.

Also, ESPN is going to air LeBron's decision as to where he will sign on Thursday. If he makes the decision at home and he doesn't choose Cleveland, he'll have to be airlifted from the rooftop of his house via a helicopter, like how all those American personnel and Vietnamese refugees were evacuated from the American embassy when Saigon fell.

Or like the Simpsons when they had to be airlifted out of Australia after Bart mooned their government at the U.S. embassy!

Couldn't Darko Milicic get a half-hour on ESPN to do the same thing? Would anyone have watched?

So much comedy potential from this announcement. Maybe he could wear a track suit with velcro all up the back, then dramatically rip his suit off to reveal his new team uniform, then flex and start kissing his muscles.

Bosh and Wade to Miami according to ESPN. Guess they wanted to one-up LeBron. If LeBron leaves Cleveland, he had better be out of there in a hurry. I hope he does leave Cleveland. He needs to look and see that the Cavs as they currently are comprised, cannot beat Orlando and now Miami (depending on how they finish out their roster). They couldn't even beat the Celtics. Simply put, he cannot win a title in Cleveland.
