Yeah, that. Kim Hughes definitely takes the cake for the Lindsey Hunter All Stars. An old white guy whose name sounds like it belongs to a female Olympic gymnast or figure skater.

I'm a Duke fan and Ewing was one of my favorite players, but when Dunleavy subbed him in out of nowhere against the Suns I was thinking WHAT THE ****KKK. I'm sure Daniel Ewing thinks about that shot all the time while he's playing in Israel or whatever. I'm even more sure Dunleavy thinks he made the right call.
The Clippers are reaching out to Isiah Thomas to take over as coach, GM, and president.

Somewhere, Elgin Baylor is laughing and clapping uncontrollably.
That has to be some sort of practical joke being played on Bill Simmons.
It doesn't get old watching Jerry Sloan's thousand yard stare.

Knicks discuss deal for McGrady
By Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports
The Knicks are run by dumbshits. Why would you rent T-Mac for a meaningless second half of a season for however much of the $23 million he is owed when Caron Butler is available in the same deal? The Houston Rockets are in the discussion stages of a complicated, three-team trade that would send Tracy McGrady(notes) to the New York Knicks, sources told Yahoo! Sports.
The centerpieces of the trade would include the Washington Wizards shipping forward Caron Butler(notes) and center Brendan Haywood(notes) to the Rockets. The Knicks would send Al Harrington(notes) to the Wizards. For the Wizards’ part, they would still need another player, as well as a draft pick and cash to make this a workable scenario, sources said.
Other players and contracts would still need to be agreed upon for a deal to come together, but there is a framework to the discussions.
The Rockets have been peddling McGrady’s expiring contract of $23 million since exiling him in late December.
They want to make a run at the playoffs so that they can not make it out of the first round.
Larry Hughes also has an expiring contract, so trading him doesn't clear the cap space they want for next year. IMO, Houston has to take Curry (not likely) or Jeffries otherwise they get the best player in the deal without adding on any deadweight contracts and that's robbery.
Hmm, thought Hughes had another year. McGrady's salary is 23 mil and I'm pretty sure Harrington is only around 10 mil so the Knicks would have to be giving up a decent amount of salary somewhere else.
Well, since Houston is giving up a 23 mil salary, they must take back an amount close to that. But Houston's GM is a shark and he has an army of statisticians working to squeeze value out in a given deal.
On an unrelated note, the dunk contest sucked. Here's an idea: Have Shawn Bradley stand below the hoop as the four contestants serve up their best facials on Bradley. It may lack originality, but it sure as hell would be a lot more fun to watch.
It's going to be hilarious when the Knicks miss out on LeBron, and throw their money at someone who doesn't deserve it (hello Joe Johnson and David Lee). If they're smart, they would hold on to their cap room for the 2011 FA's.

Kings close to trading Martin for McGrady - NBA - Yahoo! Sports
I'm kind of surprised Houston included Carl Landry, who's a Daryl Morey prototypical value player, and especially for the 1-dimensional Kevin Martin. The Sacramento Kings have reached an agreement in principle with the Houston Rockets on a trade that will swap Kevin Martin(notes) for Tracy McGrady(notes), league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Along with Martin, the Kings will send Sergio Rodriguez, Hilton Armstrong(notes) and Kenny Thomas(notes) to the Rockets. Joey Dorsey(notes) and Carl Landry(notes) will go to the Kings.
