Finally we get away from the short tracks of Bristol and Martinsville. I much prefer the big tracks because it's way easier to follow. I'm going with Matt Kenseth this week, he leads all drivers in points accumulated (including bonus) at Texas over the last five races. I expect a good race from him.

No. People here like Formula One.

And, to a lesser extent, other brands of open-wheel racing like IRL and Champ Car.

HAHA, whats wrong with a little open wheel racing? Though I would say that the new IRL, after the merger has become less popular, there isn't any Canadians running in the series.

And I would have to say that yes it is popular, there is a large number of Canadians that go to Michihan, and New Hampshire to watch their races there. Montreal also has a Nationwide series race. Plus there is the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series that run on short tracks, and a couple of road races. There's a bunch of other short track races in the country as well.

In fact I would say the top short track racer in Canada happens to come from St-Denis-sur-Richelieu, QC, he be Patrick Laperle. Of course this is just my opinion.
