That Kansas defense just killed my hope and really embarrassed the Flyers, highlighting their inability to score outside of penetrating the zone. It was a clear mismatch before the game even started. When they start flinging up three's that you know have no chance of hitting net by the time the ball leaves their fingers, UD is toast. Aldrich though, wow. Triple double, almost 20 rebounds... great game. If he plays like this the rest of the tourney, Kansas is going to be a very hard team to get past.

Kansas might be the team to beat the way they've been playing in the tournament so far

Washington didnt play the WHOLE first half and it bit them in the end. The 2nd half team was the team that had played all season. It was weird to see a Romar coached team play that badly in the 1st half.

(And then Zona v Louisville)
Five Big East teams in the Sweet 16, a tourney record. Makes all the debating look silly now doesn't it?
Especially considering 5 seed FSU, 7 seed Clemson, 7 seed BC, and 4 seed Wake Forest all lost, FSU and Clemson to teams from the CLEARLY inferior Big 10....
ACC is always over hyped, especially by ESPN whole always ride UNC and Dukes jocks 247 during every single CBB season!
KU had an easy win in rd 2 against an 11 seed but they struggled in rd 1 against North Dakota State.
All the teams are 4 seeds or higher, they should have 5 teams in the Sweet 16 and while they have done a great job so far there's still alot of work to be done. The Final Four is where they need to get teams and w/ 5 in the Sweet 16 anything less than 2 will be a disappointment. Let's wait until after this weekend to crow.
This is what drives me nuts. The ACC is terrible this tourney and all of a sudden it erases decades of being the best conference in most years, the BE is always a disappointment in the Tourney but one good first weekend and that erases the last 20 years.
The ACC hasn't been the same since expansion a few years ago but it's still a top conference despite what happened last weekend.
nyjunc, I'm done with this argument with you. You're wrong and everyone knows it at this point. Read this article, because the writer gives more information to back the Big East's claim than you can ever make up to support yours:
What we learned in the first two rounds - College Sports - News & Observer
That was a home game for North Dakota State as Kansas didn't get protected for some unknown reason and also North Dakota State was a tough matchup for them because Kansas has a little trouble guarding the 3 (as a result they jacked up 24 of them and 10 went in) But when you shoot 50% from the field and have an assist/TO ratio of 17/5 you really didn't struggle that much. North Dakota State is allowed to play well too
And in Round 2 Aldrich had a triple-double with points, blocks, and rebounds...that doesn't sound like a team that is struggling.
And looking at MSU, they don't burn you with the 3, they are a driving team much like Dayton who Kansas controlled for 40 min. And Louisville is avery similar team to MSU/Dayton, except for a slightly better post presence in Samuels. The team most likely to stop KU would be Arizona cause they have the 3 point shooters to neutralize the pound inside game of KU

The Big East set a record with Sweet 16 teams. It is already time to eat crow.
The ACC did terrible so it erases all that stupid ****ign debating on your part, not years of being the best conference. The debates were about this year. The past had zero to do with it. The Big East was the best for a reason, better teams.
