Racing Kobalt Tools 500 - Turn 3 Racing Series

The entry list is out, so it's time to start the thread for the race.

Kyle Busch got his first win of the season last week at Las Vegas. Last year, we got 8 and started his winning ways here in Atlanta, one of the fastest tracks on the schedule. It should be interesting to see what Goodyear brings to the track for a tire, cause if it's not good, I am sure Tony Stewart will say something about it.

Can we make a new rule where you can't pick the same driver every week (or even better can't pick the same driver 2 weeks in a row)?

If I think the guy will win the race (or perform well), then I'll pick him. If not, then I'll pick someone else. I'm not just riding one guy all year long, don't worry. JJ just happens to have won here in 2007, had a 6th place finish in 2006, 2nd place in 2005, and 4th place in 2004. He races well here.

I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Fair enough, I just didn't want him picking JJ the whole year, and I actually want Edwards, he's been racing really consistenly to start the season and if he gets a good car this weekend he can make a run for a top 3 finish

I see. Well then maybe I should pick JJ all year just to piss you off!

I'll keep an eye on it, but it's only two races in a row, and at both tracks JJ was worth a pick. This week is a track that is close in shape, size, config to Charlotte (Lowe's for you that subscribe to that stuff), and we all know what JJ does there right?

And he took the bait, and picked "Smoke" in a race already too. I did the same, and well, it was looking good at first, but turned out to be a bust anyways.

    DK - Jimmie Johnson
    cjkalt - Carl Edwards
    Prov - Jeff Gordon
    Brown - Kyle Busch
    Porter - Clint Bowyer
    Foster - Kurt Busch

My pick, is the big brother, the one that no one talks about. Kurt Busch. Team is firing on all cylinders (pun intended), and they got the new Dodge engine going fast. Just saw him throw a qualifying lap out that was pretty sick, riding high on the track.
