Despite a lot of buzz and props used, I liked last year's dunk contest. And I hope LeBron sticks by his "preliminary" word. Howard, Nate Rob, LeBron next year? ...yo..

derrick rose's in the ball handling thingy.
in truth, fernandez' dunk was the best... if it didnt take him all year to do it. nice dunk though. however, dwights one step over the foul line, 2 handed dunk was pretty nice... generic maybe, but to dunk it 2 handed (or couldve been 2 hands, he pulled the other away i realize), thats mighty impressive. dunk contest overall was pretty meh... still dont know how jr smith and nate robinson do the same dunk in round 1, and jr smith gets a 42, and nate gets 46.
actually i change my vote... which i never voted in the first place but yea... dwights off the side of the back board one handed jobby was pretty nice, and done in one try so it gets extra points.
Howard's 3rd dunk, where he threw it off the side of the backboard...the extension he got was filthy.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
I agree, the off the side of the backboard dunk by Howard was sweet, and to get it on the first try was awesome.
I think Rudy's dunk with Pau's assistance was best. They shouldn't judge based on how many tries it took but rather the dunk itself. The whole time he was trying it, I was thinking, "This is impossible." And then he did it. That was the only dunk the whole night that I thought was impossible.
Second best was Howard's off the side of the backboard dunk, and third was Nate's leap over Howard.
Rudy got jipped in the first round, though. Both of his dunks were better than JR Smith's .

Rudy got robbed. The difficulty level of his dunk should have negated the lack of the unexpectedness factor after 9 tries.
And the behind the back pass off the backboard was good too, and as the Jet said, it hadn't been done since Rex Chapman. Well, unless you're old, who the hell is going to remember that?

Way to kill a discussion with your lack of knowledge of the subject and usual inane comment on the thread title.
Way to keep it dead by whining about the short off topic discussion instead of commenting further on the actual topic.
