    once again, david stern does prove to own the union. of course, i think he relaxed too much on the age limit thing. he should have stuck to his guns and said a 20 age minimum. but other than that, he won and the players union is weak as usual.

    Yeah, a 19 y/o age limit is pretty useless for both sides. It hurts college hoops, too, so the people who wanted a 20 year age limit can't be happy.

    This means that Greg Oden, and most of the rest of the franchise HS talents for the class of 2006, will be forced to go to college (as most will be 18 on draft day).

    From what I've read, here are some of the changes:

    -- 19 year old age limit
    -- Shorter contracts
    -- Increased cap
    -- True minor league
