OKLAHOMA CITY -- The New Jersey Nets have declined to match Oklahoma City's offer sheet to former first-round pick Nenad Krstic.
The decision Tuesday gives the Thunder another 7-footer as they continue to look for a reliable center.
Krstic was playing in Russia when the Thunder extended an offer sheet to him last week. The Nets had a week to match it but passed.
He will be the fourth 7-footer on Oklahoma City's roster, joining Robert Swift, Johan Petro and Mouhamed Sene. Another 7-footer, Steven Hill, was waived to make room for Krstic.
Krstic was drafted 24th overall in 2002. The Thunder hope he can provide steady play at the core of a struggling offense that's next to last in the NBA in scoring.
