The season length is why a team is able to go 0-16.

It's not that difficult of a concept to comprehend.

And the fact that a team has gone winless for only the 2nd time in the 43 years of the modern era does not take away, in any form, from the NFL's parity.

Naturally it takes a shitty team to go 0-16, just like it takes a shitty baseball team to go on a 16 game losing streak. (which has happened before)

Do you honestly think the Detroit Lions are going to lose their next 144 games? Of course they're not. The odds of that happening are right up there with the odds of a baseball team going 0-162.

Furthermore, we're talking about 1 team out of 32 here. It's stupid to say that because one team goes 0-16 there isn't that much parity regardless of what the other 31 teams are doing.

Its stupid to say there's a level playing field when there isn't, obviously. A 16-0 team and a 1-15 team last year and now a 0-16 team. Parity is running thin. Lions have the worst record in the modern era, they get my vote. Like you try and claim, they had more games to lose. You think there is parity, I just don't see it and think there is more in baseball.
