Ah, give me something clever to say here.
This is the best, lets get Cassel excited about staying in NE propaganda I've ever seen. I don't think I could have done it better myself

God I hope not. As someone who narrowly missed out enjoying the Montana era, it was and is been fun to experience the Brady era. Despite not really liking the patriots, I like watching great players of any sport.
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!

I dunno, it's likely my being a Jets fan(coupled with the NY/Boston rivalry) that makes me abhor the Patriots, Belichick, and Brady. I never wish injury on someone though. Hopefully he comes back, just without the skill that led them to 3 super bowls...
As a Raider Fan,
Brady's a joke built up by the NFL that is a house of cards. Without the NFL bailing out the pats their "dynasty" never happens. I respect what Baltimore did to us they went into the black hole and knocked our teeth out, I respect what Tampa did to us they went to SD and knocked our teeth out, but the Pats will never get a 2nd thought in my mind because we made the play that 96% of the people believe was the play to win that game.
I dont normally wish ill upon people, but its about time Bellicheat and Brady starting having to pay back karma.

Since when is following the rules in the rulebook bailing someone out? You may hate the rules but thats just too bad, the rules are the rules, just cause u lost the snowbowl doesn't mean u should take it out on Brady.
Plus he'll be back don't worry about it, this story is the wooing of Matt Cassel part 1

As an avid Raider hater I think the Raiders got screwed on that game.
I don't think it was some conspiracy ran by the NFL front office or anything, however.
It's hard to blame the refs, though, because it technically was the right call, but anyone who's not wearing Patriots colored glasses knows Brady wasn't trying to throw the ball anymore when he dropped it.

BUT the initial call was fumble and the definition of Instant Replay is "Irrefutible Video Evidence" is required to overturn a call. And thus How the H-E- Double Hockey sticks is that "Irrefutible Video Evidence" when the 2nd hand could have been on the ball from the video angle they had. If that had happened like halfway through the 3rd quarter and the final score ended up what it was then ya they played another whole quarter. But that play would have ENDED the game. Not just gave the Raiders the ball but practically put that game away with 1 min to play and NE without any timeouts.
Likewise had they initially called that an incomplete forward pass then fine, theres not enough evidence to reverse that and call it a fumble. But the original call was a fumble and you replay that with 2 random teams and I guarentee you 99% of the officials/fans/players say its inconclusive either way.

I guess you believe then the Pats should have been called for about a dozen pass interferences the following time NE made the playoffs?

24 seconds in... wheres that 2nd hand... Looks to me it looks like its on the ball. Could it have been? Yes, Could it have not been? Yes. 2nd hand=fumble even according to that "blessed" rule. Again Walt Coleman specifically bailed them out in the snow job, just like the officials did vs Indy as they allowed the NE DBs to basically mug anyone they could get their hands on even if the ball was in the air.

Just because a QB's hand move forward, that doesn't mean the rule says it's automatically incomplete. The rule (if I'm not mistaken) says he has to be attempting to throw a pass. Brady was CLEARLY not trying to throw a pass. Therefore, there's no doubt in my mind it should have been a fumble.
Are we really still debating the tuck rule game?
It was clearly the right call. It's clearly a stupid rule. The end.

Slyder- Move the **** on, seriously, drives me nuts when people like you still hold grudges because of bad calls.
I rooted for the Sacramento Kings durring their mini run(local team), Kobe clearly hit Bibby in the Nose in Game 7 of the WCF in 2002, Sac lost that game, plus there were other bad calls aswell, but I don't wish ill upon, Kobe and Phil, nor was I one of those idiots holding a grudge against him when he committed adultery.
