Jesus lives.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Why not fire him now?
About god damn time. He should have been fired a LONG time ago. But you know what, fine. Thanks for finally growing a pair, Darryl.Syracuse University Director of Athletics Dr. Daryl Gross announced today that he is making a change in leadership of the Orange football program.
“I have made the decision to move our football program in a new direction and have informed Greg Robinson that his tenure as Syracuse’s head coach will end at the conclusion of this season.
“Coach Robinson worked very hard to try to establish a winning program, one that could eventually compete for the conference championship on a regular basis. Unfortunately, the progress we expected to see has not occurred.
“Greg has been professional and honorable in how he has handled his responsibilities as head coach. He has been dedicated to teaching and guiding the student-athletes in his charge, and passionate in wanting Syracuse to be a quality and successful program.
I'm sure he worked hard, but lets be real, how good a review can you possibly give him. The guy was terrible. Goodness knows how he lasted so long.
Highly competitive? Really? Dumbest thing I've ever heard. Rumors and speculation had been going on for months, I don't know why we couldn't announce the obvious a long time ago. Finally, I'd like to say to Dr. Gross, thanks to you and your terrible decision to hire Greg Robinson there is no Syracuse Nation, and unless this school somehow gets good, there will be no Syracuse Nation for a long time........for football that is.“I thank Coach Robinson and his entire staff for creating a highly competitive culture in which our players never gave up, and for his development and leadership of our student-athletes in the classroom and community. His commitment to community service was outstanding. He leaves the program with a solid base on which we will continue to build. We wish Greg and his family the very best moving forward.
“The timing of this announcement allows us to end rumor and speculation and provides us ample time to hire a head coach who has shown the capability to produce a winning football program that the Syracuse nation can be proud of. That process will begin immediately and will remain confidential until a selection is made.”
And Paul Pasqualoni was so bad why?
The team went 16-20 in his last 3 seasons......but he did NOT deserve to be fired.
At least we still get to see him on national TV this Saturday.
This is news?
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
Barney: Circle gets the square!
The 2074 MSL NL Gold Glove Recipient at Third Base.
Maybe they can replace him with Rich Rod once he gets canned at the end of the year.
Its the 3rd headline because ESPN is excited that after tomorrow they won't have to deal with these rumors anymore
