Texas Tech has played the best teams and beaten then, Alabama had one win at UGA but that win's value took a hit when UGA got blown out by UF, so I'd say TT is the #1 team
Now of course Alabama will get the #1 spot in the polls.

Texas Tech has only played one of the best teams, not best teams. If anyone saw Nebraska-Oklahoma, you can't really consider Nebraska competition right now.
