Sentencing is tomorrow morning (Friday); who's pumped up? I know I am.
Looks like the minimum he is required to get is 6 years, with the maximum of life, of course.
I say he only serves 2-4.
Unfortunately for Simpson, Nevada employs a uniquely strict truth-in-sentencing approach, with the offender required to serve 100 percent of the minimum period of time determined by the judge. Thus if Glass sentences Simpson to a minimum of six years and a maximum of 10 years in prison, Simpson will have to serve at least six years, regardless of any good behavior while behind bars.
14
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Finally OJ will go to prison and for 9 years Somewhere Nicole and Ron are cracking a slight smile.
I ****ed up. Its nine years. I edited. He is eligible for parole in five years.
Nah, it's 15. I just watched it all unfold on TV.
The breakdown:
Count No. 1: 1 year
Count No. 2: 12-48 months (concurrent)
Count No. 3: 12-48 months(concurrent)
Count No. 4: 26-120 months(concurrent)
Count No. 5: 15 years (parole after 5 years) (concurrent)
Count No. 6: 15 years (parole after 5) (concurrent)
Count No. 7: 60-180 months(concurrent)
Count No. 8: 60-180 months(concurrent)
Count No. 9: 18-72 months (consecutive to count No. 8)
Count No. 10: 18-72 months (consecutive to count No. 9)
ESPN is saying nine. OJ's buddy got 15.
Well that's ****ed up then. I distinctly heard the judge give her sentencing. She wasn't messing around.
****ing 9 years?? Are you kidding me.
No, ESPN is saying MINIMUM 9, meaning if he gets parole the minute he becomes eligible. Technically, he could be in jail for up to 33 years. But the actual number that he was sentenced to was 15 (+ a couple years for the other charges)
