NASTIA LIUKIN + SHAWN JOHNSON = 1-2. a great performance, and overcame some ridiculous home-field judging.

O, and I officially hate all these NBC announcers besides Costas. They all suck

i was bummed about that, but I'll take it. It was an amazing showing by both of them. As long as we stuck it to the Chinese I was happy

Liukin was flat out robbed on a few routines. Her last routine was a definite "Oh snap!" type of moment.

Yeah for sure. Especially on her vault. The other Chinese gymnast almost got a higher score than Nastia, and that gymnast didn't even land the vault! Her balance beam routine was AMAZING though. Jeeze they make it look so easy...

All the best athletes have been hiding out at the Trampoline. Some names that need more praise.

    - Dong Dong (China)
    - Karen Cockburn (Canada)
    - Huang Shanshan (China)

Here's an awesome vid of Dong Dong

How is Dong Dong able to whip himself around like that? Honestly it's just amazing.
