Yes they were actually. Belmont inexplicably stopped playing defense for a second and that allowed the last second layup. Who cares what seed Belmont was? What matters is that they were winning until there were about 10 seconds left. Duke sucks.

I could care less about Duke, I only randomly picked them because I know they're good almost every year and they were ranked #2 so I assumed they were again this year. (As you can tell I don't follow NCAA that much)

If you watched the game, especially the last minute, you would understand. The fact that Duke was matched point-for-point by a 15 seed is the thing. They got lucky that Belmont stopped paying attention for 10 seconds, or else someone would have taken one for the team and taken a charge, but they just let whoever it was, i forget, just drive straight through the lane and lay the ball up. The point is they needed a last second shot to beat a 15 seed. And then they lose to the #6 team in the Big East. Hence, Duke sucks.
