Couple of things for you guys:
#1) One is a baseball forum, one is a football forum. How you can compare the two is beyond me.
#2) No one would ever force any of ya to post at one place or another. ATL: feel free to have your acct removed from the other forum if you dislike it so much (that goes for anyone, just PM me and I can make it happen in moments)
#3) Just an FYI: All three of the forums are owned by the same guy. The same one person foots the bill for the server, for the datacenter space, for the vbulletin licenses. When TheMLBForum.com went kablooey and this community was without a home, this guy stepped up, opened his arms and checkbook without hesitation. Why? Is he a huge baseball fan? Nope... not that I'm aware of. But he knew the community was strong and he had friends within the community. Not wanting to lose that commoradory, he stepped up and offered a permanent home, no questions asked and with basically no strings attached, giving Mission the freedom to run this site as he saw fit and without looking over his shoulder saying "yes" and/or "no" to Mission's vision(s) for S3F.
If you are saying "the NFL forums" sucks in jest, that's one thing. If you say it on the public forum and mean it, then are you disrespecting the owner of THIS site as well as the overall leadership of the entire community (since there are a lot of people that frequent both).
I'm glad you like the community here. That's very important to most of us. Mission, Fisher, Redsrbetter, the mod crew and the vast majority of the users on this site make it what it is. That's great and that's what we want. I'm just pointing out something that maybe you don't know. The sites are connected in more ways than one. I, for one, don't dig the blatant disrespect when I've seen it (and I've seen it a few times). This time, ya got me on a week where I'm not in the mood for it, thus the diatribe.
