Rusty Wallace And Wife Patti In Serious Accident But Ok...
CORNELIUS, N.C. -- Rusty Wallace, the 1989 NASCAR champion, and his wife escaped serious injury in a two-car accident Monday evening.
Wallace and his wife, Patti, were on their way home from the Charlotte airport, returning from a trip to California, when the 2006 Dodge Durango in which they were riding was hit in the driver's door by another motorist who alledegly ran a stop sign.
"I've been in a lot of crashes in my time, but that was one of the craziest things I think I've ever experienced," Wallace said. "Patti and I were driving home from the airport, driving the speed limit, somewhere around 45 miles per hour I believe, when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, I got hit directly in my door. We really got knocked around in there and we're both really sore."
The other motorist was also able to walk away from the accident.
Thank the Lord......... =*)

He gets into an accident when going at 45 mph, but not when going upwards of 120 mph. Makes sense.

Yes indeed, and he came away very thankful...God watches out close for him...I guess someone in the other vehicle was on their cell phone when they hit Rusty's car...
