Dimension Films has announced that Feast, the horror movie whose inception and production was made possible and documented by the third season of the hit show "Project Greenlight" on the Bravo network, will hit theatres nationwide for special late night showings beginning on September 22 and 23, 2006. The special run will be followed by the DVD launch of Feast on October 17, 2006.
Directed by "Project Greenlight" winner and first time filmmaker John Gulager, Feast is the terrifying tale of a motley crew of strangers who find themselves trapped in an isolated tavern and must band together in a battle for survival against a family of flesh-hungry creatures. The ensemble cast includes Balthazar Getty ("Alias"), Henry Rollins (IFC's "The Henry Rollins Show"), Navi Rawat ("The O.C.," "Numb3rs"), Josh Zuckerman (Surviving Christmas), Judah Friedlander (MTV2's hit show "Wonder Showzen"), Jason Mewes (Clerks II), Jenny Wade (Rumor Has It...) and Krista Allen (HBO's "Unscripted").
Feast will make its world premiere on September 12, 2006 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

John Gulager, the contest winner who was tapped to direct his first feature film for Project Greenlight said, "This is a dream come true -- making a movie. And then it's a movie like 'Feast'! Monsters, chicks, explosions, blood, a studio film, a real budget...I mean...come on! It's a really fun film that will surprise a lot of people and shock some."
"We are proud to be part of a process that discovers, develops and provides opportunity for talented writers and filmmakers to work alongside entertainment luminaries like Wes Craven and have the opportunity to share their vision with audiences. 'Project Greenlight' continues to leverage the power of various media platforms to discover new talent as well as create a community that has a vested interest in seeing the final results," stated Larry Tanz, CEO LivePlanet.
"We are thrilled to have 'Feast' open theatrically," noted Maloof Motion Pictures Chairman/CEO Phil Maloof.
