Fantastic tournament, what a memorable five days of golf. Some of the best back-and-forth action we've seen.
The count:

Federer's demise is nearly complete, as he lost in his first match back after Wimbledon to some unknown french dude. This was in Toronto.
1 behind Tiger!
Federer vs. Safin tomorrow night in a third round battle of former #1s. And with Tiger's rehab not looking so good, this tournament is Federer's big chance to make up a lot of ground.
Federer vs. Roddick in the semifinals on Wednesday/Thursday (depending on how you view the time difference). A-Rod surprisingly crushed Djokovic in the quarters even though I didn't give him much of a chance after he lost the first set tiebreak. Djokovic had to retire because of the 120+ degree heat on the court (ridiculous because they should have closed the roof or suspended play). As for Federer, he dispatched of Del Potro 6-3, 6-0, 6-0 which is astounding considering he had struggled in 5 sets in his previous match.
Quite the amazing semifinal between Nadal and Verdasco, with Nadal eventually pulling through in one of the best matches I've seen of late. And I had originally picked Nadal to win it all, but I might have to change my pick after this just went down. 5+ hours, 5 sets, it goes to the limit for Nadal, not to mention that Federer has an extra 24 hours of rest for the finals, and he only had to play 3 sets against A-Rod. Is the 14th major on the way? Or does Nadal keep dominating over him? Either way, it should be a great final and the rivalry is back on.
My money's on the Fed.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.
Ah, give me something clever to say here.
Don't look now but Serena Williams won her 10th major.

Chris Fowler: "Can Federer be considered the greatest of all-time if he gets consistently outplayed in his prime by a rival?"
Bud Collins: "No."
The 5th set was very disappointing from Federer who completely fell apart, which is too bad because the first 4 sets were as high quality as they come.
I think Tiger is more dominating than Federer is. When Tiger is playing, the rest of the field plays as hard as they can for 2nd place.

Should we add Nadal and Serena to this poll lol.
