I'm going pick by pick with Yahoo! right now. They say NE has taken Orlosvky.
Interesting pick. They have Aaron Brooks there, and they obviously brought in McPherson to groom him into their next QB after Brooks. I like this pick, I think McPherson is a very talented guy who if not for the trouble off the field and with the right circumstances could've been a 1st or 2nd round pick.Originally Posted by Fishercat
I think Yahoo messed up. ESPN and Sportsline seem to have it as Detroit.
I think the Lions traded for that pick or something, since the Pats now have 5 overall 2nd day picks, from the 7 they used to have. A 5th and 6th rounder is missing from the beginning of the day.
NFL.com is reporting that Detroit got Orsovky. Maybe a trade happened.
There we go. Damn, Belichick must not like ANYONE in this draft or must really like next year's...
Lions get: New England's fifth-round pick (No. 145) and selected QB Dan Orlovsky, and a sixth-round pick (No. 206).
Patriots get: Detroit's fourth-round pick in 2006.
yeah, yahoo is messed up. Check this out. It does list New England as the team, but go read the thing at the right
So, apparantly New England got that spot from Arizona....through New England? lol(from Arizona through New England)

Ya. You beat me to it. Anyways, next years draft is supposed to be very deep. So getting picks for next year is a great thing.Originally Posted by Fishercat
