1. Suppose that you were starting up a Major League Baseball Team and due to a special rule change, you can choose one veteran (at least 5 years MLB Experience or over 30 years old), one young player (at least one day MLB experience but may not fall into either other category), and one prospect (no MLB experience), which three would you choose and why?

Well the over 30 player is an easy choice: Todd Walker, Walker is the type of 2b that is willing to bat anywhere in the lineup, hit over .300 this year, has an above average glove, does everything in the box a manager could ask of him, and he would be the type of guy I would want to build around at the top of the lienup.

Albert Pujols is 25 so I guess hed not fall in the over 30 and just finished his 5th season. He would be the heavy lumber driving in Walker.

I honestly do not know enough about the minor leagues to give a choice. I really do not know.

2. If you could change three events in your life, what would they be? Consider all possible rammifications of these changes. You do not have to change anything, but if you don't, what the hell makes your life so perfect?

My work in school would be the one thing I would change. Dont know what it would mean but it would be nice if I could look back and not feel sick.

3. Hypothetical question: God/Allah/Deity/Natural Distaster decided to destroy everyone in the world, but gave you and one other person of the opposite sex (to reproduce, although the inbreeding would be weird after a while, that's beside the point) the chance to live. First off, would you take the option (assume that all production would be maintained and that you could buy food, live normally, say robots took over)? Second, if you took the option, and this power said that x amount of people would be saved if you (alone) sacrificed yourself, what would x have to be (assume choice is random. You could get Bill Gates, you could get a murderer) for you to take that deal?

Shouldnt this count as about 5 questions .

1) Yes I would take that option
2) Whoever I could save I would. My belief in the Bible and the stories from my youth would help me to do it.

Id package Parker, Anderson, and Loewen before Id ever consider that. Probably Dapena as hes older and will probably fall apart sooner .

My favorites would have to be:
1) James Mann- Hes a freaking beast, I hope that Kotter does this well when he gets called up.

I just do not trust the pitch. If it isnt working well on a given day you dont have anything else to really rely on and an 86-89 MPH Fastball gets crushed more often that not.

Could be really great, but Kerry Wood also looked great in his first couple years then turned into Mr. Disable List.

1. Raiders fan, huh? Did you agree with the Raiders' offseason tactic of boosting up an already decent offense (albeit with a questionable QB) by acquiring Moss and LaMont Jordan and weakening an already weak defense by giving up their best linebacker?

Harris always seemed to be out of position (like many on this team last year). Lamont Jordan was a must find, we HAD to get a RB last year being dead last in the run on O wasnt going to cut it. I loved that signing.

Moss however I was luke warm at best, yes Moss is a great player but your giving up a top 10 pick that we could have probably used to position ourselves for Rolle, Pacman, or Johnson. But after some of the other deals started coming down the road I warmed up to it because we repositioned ourselves with a few more picks and used many of them to help the D and Morrison (3rd Rounder) is making a huge impact on the d against the run.

2a. If the Reds were on the verge of winning the NL Central with a sub-.500 record, what would be your take on the team?
2b. If the Reds were to win the NL Central at, say, 79-83, and then went on to win the World Series, would you be proud of that WS vicotry, or would you feel it to be "tainted"?

If the Reds went on to win the WS then there shouldnt be any complaining because we went out and beat 3 teams with probably 90+ wins. Before that just shake my head and hope for the best in the playoffs.

3. Will the string of Reds fans on the hot seat broken?

Dunno, no ones offered to be next, so Im taking volunteers right now. Please dont be shy just zip a PM my way that you're interested and Ill gladly let you burn your bottom on this seat.

1) I was going to send you an IM one day and I read your away message and it had something to do with Waldenbooks. What do you do there?

Just about what every retail job is. Sell stuff, more stuff, and more stuff. Oh ya theres also stocking the self for stuff to sell. Otherwise not a whole lot else, just bugging people to get the stuff they ordered, book fairs at schools and stuff.

2) Are you a casual Reds fan(like to follow up on the team every once in a while, go to a game every now and then) or a diehard Reds fan(attend a game several times a week, know all the names of the players/coaches, etc.)?

I am 4 hrs away and with school, work and stuff it makes it hard for me to make it to many games. I follow devoutly. Most of my post count is there, I look online daily for new news, I listening to Marty and Steve everyday that the reds are on, if i were closer and had time Id probably get season tickets and go at least once a week.

3) If you had to contract one team in the four professional sports, which team would it be and why?

Tampa Bay Devil Rays- The ownerships proven they dont want to win and the city has 0 history to lose and very little fan base built. I think most people would say Kansas City but that city would support the team if you got a competant owner in there and put a desire to win back in the team.

Dont know, dont really have any favorite albums usually there will be one or two songs I like and wait for them to come out seperate so I can "buy" them and burn them onto a CD.
