I think we all know that Brownie's TPSL Brewers have used roids.
They got more juice in them than Tropicana.
Johnny Flynn went to high school not too far from where I lived in New York. A friend of mine saw a couple of his high school games.

I think Brownie's TBSL yankees do, however, need steroids.

1) Hmm...I don't really have anything that weird that I can do...the only thing I can think of is I'm very flexible for a guy, especially my neck. I can touch my nose to the ground while doing a neck bridge. That's about it haha.Originally Posted by diamonddave
2) I don't know too much about bands partying, but I heard that when Bloc Party came to Syracuse, they partied pretty damn hard at the Syracuse bars, and I think they even went to a house party here. That being said...I would definitely want a band that's young, around my age. I'd say 3OH!3 would be a great choice. I don't know anything about their party reputation, but by their music they come off as party animals. I'm sure they at least occasionally get quite belligerent.
3) Great question DD. I would say I would focus on how sports now a days has become an absolute money making machine in so many facets, and yet its main basic function still has stayed the same despite the absolute boom it has seen in the last century. This phenomenon I find so fascinating. What is it that sports began as? Entertainment. And it still is. But entertainment to me doesn't cover it. Sports, at least to me, and I know I'm in the vast majority, is a get away. It allows the fan to put aside all other worries in their lives, and escape to something that in the big scheme of their lives has absolutely no consequence whatsoever. And yet to lots of fans...it does. When I'm watching sports...problems disappear. It allows people who otherwise would have absolutely nothing in common to, for those few hours, and even beyond, have something in common. And having something in common is the most powerful spark to starting friendships, or even to being friendly with one another for a few hours.
Sorry I went on this huge rant. But that would be my main point. I could go on for hours. Sports, despite its political and economic ties in the recent years, still maintains its beautiful, purified purpose that it had in the insurrection of sports thousands of years ago. To entertain, but to more than entertain. Hell, the Greeks STOPPED WAR for sports. That is the ultimate example of how sports can not only entertain, but it can bring a people together on a simple, pretty much meaningless common ground, and it can give people a break from bigger problems in the world.
Now back to the 2nd part of the question my special something that would make me stand out...i am a VERY conversational person in general, so I think i would bring a conversational style to the radio, which a lot of hosts don't have. a lot of hosts like to be very structured with their shows, but i wouldn't do as much like that, i would let something flow a lot more I would think
Those were definitely the best questions on this thread. Great job DD
1) No question the football team. We'd get instant notoriety, Doug Marrone would become a legend, and our team would get so many better recruits. Our basketball team already has great notoriety, and the lax team has a ton of credibility, just came off a national championship, and frankly doesn't matter that much.Originally Posted by Kingdom_of_Zito
2) Deifinitely I would say Mr. Bigglesworth from Austin Powers
I wouldn't necessarily want him as a pet, but what a chill, evil pet. Toto seems like a hell of a pet. I'd pick her.
3) I'm adding a number 1 onto this: Winning a WS with Colorado in TPSL. That's my ultimate goal right now. After that:
-Making the playoffs in TSSL - I worked really hard to get them there. If only it could have continued...
-Completing a trade with you. I feel like it legitimized my GM abilities
-Making it back to TSSL after I was fired. That was a great moment.
-Not ranking in the bottom 10 of the GM list. RELEASE IT.
-Beating you in the SBSL WS. I know I GM'ed it, and it was in the first few years of the league. But it still felt good.
-Beating Browntown in my league. This is last because it was the first year of the sim league, so I don't really attribute it too much to my GM'ing abilities
1) That's a tough question...I think I'm much more invested in the Giants, so I'd pick them. Although since the Yankees put so much money into this team, I'd love to see them win it. But the Giants come first in my book.Originally Posted by hollywoodleo
2) Was he the biggest reason? No. Was he part of a conglomerate of reasons? Yes. IMO, he needs to go now. His attitude cannot be fixed. It's a me first attitude. It's not NEARLY as bad as TO, and it doesn't cause relationships of his on the field to be sour, but it effects his mindset in games, and off the field. He's just got too much of an "I'm indestructible" attitude. But one of the Giants' biggest weaknesses in the playoffs was the lack of a true #1 WR. They need to get TJ or Boldin.
3) Well...like I said in the other thread, after those guys, I don't have any real favorites. I just like individual songs. But for the purpose of answering this question, I'll flip the question. I'll give you 10 other bands I like, and I'll give you 5 songs for each (Or as many good ones as I know), mainly because for some of them I don't know a whole 10 songs.
