1) Favorite MLB player...non-padre? (And why)

Johan Santana, because I love dominant pitching and he's quite possibly the most dominant in the game.

2) First celebrity crush (and at what age)

Tiffany Amber Thiessen (roughly 11 or 12 I think. It was when Saved By The Bell was pretty big.)

3) You're given the option to either sleep with Jessica Alba, or go back in time and save a train load of people from being killed in the Holocaust. You can't do both, but if you choose to go back in time, you can send someone else from the forums to get with Jessica. So, do you go back in time? And if so, who do you send to be with Jessica?

I'll go back in time. As tempting as that might be, I'm still going to save the lives.

I'd be Super Man and I'd abuse my powers all day and **** shit up.

Jesus, because he's probably the most influential man in history whether you believe in the Bible or not.

Thomas Jefferson, one of the founding fathers, would be awesome to get some takes on the actual intents behind some of the amendments.

My Fair Lady - Sounds like a chick flick, therefore it must be atrociously bad.

The Oddesey - It's an epic poem, therefore it must be horrible because I hate poetry.

Phonebooth - Kind of stale at points, but overall it was a decent movie. I didn't see it all but I watched it from the middle on. A bit too predictable IIRC, though.

The Whole 9 Yards - This movie was pretty damn funny. Twists left and right and good comedy. Plus Amanda Peet naked.

No, and not really, lol

2. How many times have you watched the movie Bring It On with Kirsten Dunst?

Never.

Probably wouldn't mind turning it on and muting it just because Kirsten Dunst is in it, but I don't really care for the movie in and of itself.

3. When going out to a club or wherever would you wear a pink shirt or sweater?

I don't wear pink.

I'll probably wear a sweater in the winter time, but I'll usually end up taking it off after I start drinking.

1. Why would your brother ever want to be a bengal fan?

Because they play in the same city as the Reds, who he randomly chose to root for as a child.

2. Does it bother you the slightest that two of the better defensive players in the league (Merriman, Castillo) have had problems with banned substances?

It bothers me to a degree, but in the end I really have no control over it.

Jerry Seinfeld put it best. I root for the laundry, not the players. If they're still using and get caught I'll end up rooting for some other defensive players.

The fact that that possibility exists is the part that bothers me.

Better yet, what is your stance on steroids in the NFL and players that are caught, i.e. Rodney Harrison and the rest?

Same as my stance in baseball.

You can't go back and change the past, so anyone who wants to talk about asterisks and erasing records in the record books, yadda yadda yadda is making a stupid suggestion IMHO, but you can control the future and if the player is caught breaking the rules then, by all means, he should be punished.

Like any rule, if he shows no regards for the punishment by continuing to do it then you make it more severe.

3. In a different reality, you have the choice between a 26 year old Peyton Manning and a 24 year old Joseph Addai or keeping a 26 year old Phillip Rivers and a 24 year old Ladanian Tomlinson. We're logically assuming neither Manning or Rivers have been to or won a super bowl in this alternate reality.

I'll take Peyton and Addai simply because Peyton opens up the offense so much that he really only needs a good RB (like Addai) to complete the offensive game.

Also, which 3 players in the league would completely make you happy if they became chargers somehow?

Torry Holt, Brian Urlacher, and Peyton. (I like Rivers, but imagine Peyton and LT on the same team...)

3b. Because I need to ask a baseball question. Give me 3 steps in how you'd attempt to fix the Padre offense. And what do you think of the idea that when Prior comes back, stick him in the pen to get used to that atmosphere and then turn him into Hoffman's future replacement? Eh eh?

This year? Or for the future?

This year there really aren't that many realistic options on the table to make a quick fix.

I'd bring up Chase Headley, sign Kenny Lofton if he's healthy, and hope for the best.

For the near future (2009) they mainly need some speed, so I'd get someone who's fast, can run the bases, and can get on base. Not knowing who's available next year off hand I can't be specific as to who.

I'd also consider moving the fences in some, but not as much as some other fans would like. The home/away splits of some of the players is crazy.

The Prior idea is not a bad idea, not sure if I'd do it but I'd certainly take it into consideration.

Which country has better musical artists, the UK or the US?

Just looking at my play list I guess I'll have to say US just because most of them originate there.

But that could have a lot to do with who I'm exposed to.

There certainly are a lot of great artists who originated from the UK.

What was the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?

Some weird dish I had in Dubai (U.A.E.), not quite sure what was in it though.

Your first job - what was it, did you like it, and was your boss a jerk (like mine is)?

Popeye's Chicken and Biscuits.

It wasn't a bad job for a first job just fresh out of high school, but it was minimum wage and definitely not my career path of choice.

I did enjoy taking free chicken and mac&cheese home every night, though.

My boss was pretty cool for the most part, but she got caught embezzling from the store a few years after I quit to join the Navy.

1. How did you come up with the name HollywoodLeo?

I didn't. My buddies in high school did.

I always wore these cheap shades to baseball practice that looked kinda like Hollywood Hulk Hogan's



Except his were 100 dollar Oakley's while mine were 10 dollar cheapies you can find at the grocery store.

Any rate, WCW was popular at my school back then and it was when the nWo storyline was big and they all started calling me Hollywood.

I started using it as an internet tag after high school, but nobody really calls me that offline anymore.

2. What is about baseball that makes you so passionate, loyal to the game?

The multitudes of different aspects to the game, statistical analysis, the relaxing atmosphere of a baseball game, the fact that you don't have to be a physical behemoth to succeed, the rich history, if your team loses a game it's not as detrimental to their season as other sports...

I can go on for a long time with this question.

3. If you culd pick any woman in the world to date, who would it be? Why?
