It wouldn't open at all on my computer, and there were excel errors on my parents' and the library's computer. The library one had the latest microsoft office package, so..

assuming you actually have excel on those machines (which I hope is a safe assumption), if you can't open it, it's probably because of the security settings within excel itself. Sheets running macros can set off the bells and whistles within excel if the security settings are strict.
