nah, I do most my shopping online.
But I do go to Wal-Mart occasionally. But that's usually when i'm in the area
I don't think there are any K-Marts in San Diego.
If there are, I haven't seen any

The thing that I don't like about Wal-Mart is that this huge coporation is hurting those mom-and-pop stores. You don't see many of them around anymore.
If I need a few odds and ends to get by for the weekend, I'd go to a smaller store and buy what I need. Its generally more expensive, but I'd rather pay more and get the same stuff I would buy at Wal-Mart than just doing all of my grocery shopping at Wal-Mart altogether.
such is the case with any large corportation
But I don't fault a company for trying to grow. That is the way of the capatalist society

Yeah, but if your a person who cannot get around as much, what do you do? Heck, even a local grocery store caters groceries to those who are disabled. Wal-Mart wouldn't do that.Originally Posted by HollywoodLeo

If Wal Mart doesn't feel the need to provide that service that's their perogative.
They have the freedom to choose what services they want to provide and what services they don't want to provide.
It's up to the customers to decide if they want to partake in whatever services are being offered.

I avoid wal marts at all possibilities, when up here they try and take over every single business around. Some of you familiar with the midwest may know about Meijers. Well up here a wal marts is built across the street or down the road from every single Meijers. It's been known for awhile that Wal marts is trying to shut down Meijers and take all their business. Luckily towns and cities have been fighting back lately. Heck, I think there is atleast 3 walmarts in a 30-45 min range around me.
which is about 3 too many. they are trying to put a super walmart near my parents house and I absolutely hate the idea because its piss poor planning. theyd have to redesign the road (at the very least rebuild the road because its not designed to withstand the many dozens of semis that would be travelling down streets to get to the place) just to start with, and thered be so much traffic itd be crazy. not to mention all the trashy people going there. one walmart in our town is enough. who needs a stuper walmart too?Originally Posted by RockSports17
