Best Movies of 05

I'll write up my list later on (sometime this year, that is) but for me, the best movies so far this year have been:

Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith
Batman Begins
Hitch
Robots


I'll be watching Coach Carter either tonight or tomorrow and I'm hoping that I won't be let down by this flick. Too often, when a movie tries to make a "statement", it does just the opposite. I hope this isn't one of those cases. I also plan on seeing Mr. and Mrs. Smith in the next week or so (hopefully).

Saw The Jacket the other day and it was a solid movie. Not the best, but pretty darn good.

The movie was good, entertaining with some sweet action. I had some problems with the movie (specifically the ending) but I'm not gonna get into those really in this thread because it will spoil the movie for some. I was really digging it for a while but near the end I just didn't like it.

Just saw Hostage last night. This movie was great. A really good movie that made me wonder what on Earth I would do in this situation. Bruce Willis' character had to be smart and able to control his emotions at the ame time. Very nicely done!

Batman Begins is probably the best movie I've seen this year...just fabulous all around. Christian Bale was excellent. I also enjoyed the Longest Yard, thought that was pretty funny.
