1. ^^I love that song by Barns Courtney.
2. I did not know who Barns Courtney was before that song and that he also did "Hands", which played 3600 times while MLB 17 was downloading. I grew to dislike it.
3. From the opening beat in the trailer, I got my hopes up that it was going to be this song that was in the promos for MLB Network's Baseball Hall of Fame announcement show:

Got this yesterday. First time in a couple years I got it. Love the legends.
I put them into a fantasy draft to start my franchise mode and here's my starters
C Brian McCann/Tucker Barnhart (LHP/RHP)
1B Willie McCovey
2B Rod Carew
SS Elvis Anduras
3B Paul Molitor
LF Lou Brock
CF Ken Griffey Jr
RF Tony Gwynn
SP Stephen Strasburg
SP Orel Hersheiser
SP Johnny Cueto
SP Felix Hernandez
SP Ervin Santana
CL Trevor Hoffman
(a few good to mediocre relievers in between)
I didn't draft Griffey though. I drafted Giancarlo Stanton, Adam Jones, and Gio Gonzalez then traded them for Griffey
It's funny when you get your first hit with a legend they make the presentation of someone getting their first major league hit and how great they are, even though they still introduce (for example) Lou Brock as "the all time Cardinals great".
It was even funnier with McCovey since he's 39 years old in the game.

I did a legends draft as well and it's a lot of fun.
I noticed that same thing about the presentation saying that it was their first major league hit or their first major league HR. It kind of bothers me cause obviously that's not very realistic but then I have to remind myself that I'm not playing with a realistic team in the first place. Ha.
I also am putting quite a few hours into Road to the Show. Anyone else play that mode?

I haven't played road to the show on this one just yet but I used to mess with that all the time in the games I had before.
