As a 27 year old, I am watching Girl Meets World as well. Grew up on Boy Meets World, so I have to watch.

It has its own merits, but there are parts of it that gives the same feeling as the original series. The show allows itself to have its own direction but brings in a lot of nostalgia for those of us who caught the old show, especially with all of the upcoming cameos.

I couldn't get into Gotham. maybe I did't give it a long enough trial, but I couldn't find anything appealing during the first 2 episodes

"The Wire"

I know this is an old show, but I was talking to this one guy I know on a photography board. I had put up a self-portrait wearing an old school hat and somebody said it looked like Walter White. So we start talking about Breaking Bad and this one guy, Carlos, said I should watch "The Wire". I think I heard the name, but never knew anything about it. I think it started in 2002. So I found it on HBO On Demand, and watched all of Season One over the last few days. And then I sent Carlos this in an email:

So check it out, yo. My boy Carlos be talkin about one of my photos on Monday night. We get to bullshittin about TV shows and some shorty start talkin about "Breaking Bad." So Carlos say, "You motherfuckers got to check out "The Wire". It is the bomb, yo."

Now me and Carlos? We be on the same wave length artistically, you know? So I figure I got to check this shit out. So I got me some HBO On Demand and I go lookin for "The Wire". Dayum. It got all the seasons and episodes on there. So I start watchin and I be thinkin, "This shit's a little slow." But I stick with it, see, and pretty soon I be all caught up in all these motherfuckin characters and what they be doin. Next thing I know? I be watchin this shit every motherfuckin night. Two, three episodes at time like a junkie with some prime blue caps, you feel me? So now, it's Saturday morning and I just finish with the final episode of Season 1. And I got to tell ya'll, that was some good shit. I ain't sayin it's better or worse than "Breaking Bad" cause that's like apples and oranges, you know what I'm sayin? But it was good. Real motherfuckin good. My boy Carlos? That nigga knows his shit.
