I got banned years ago only a few days after I signed up. I don't even know why.
What is SOSD?
Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
Ted: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.

The website of the San Diego Union-Tribune newspaper. It has a message board that's populated by overzealous Chargers and Padres fans such as HollywoodLeo. My description is not doing it justice.
I always knew J Five and SuperCharger had a birth place.

I don't mean to share the below post to generalize these guys, but I saw it posted elsewhere because it takes the cake in fail.
I'd love for Andruw Jones, Omar Vizquel, and Randy Winn all to be in the Padres lineup. Go get 'em, Jed!We need to take advantage of the teams that are going to be early sellers. Obviously getting offense from our OF has to be addressed.
Ideas:
Bring in Andruw Jones, stick him in CF, bat him 4 or 5 and see what he can do in a Padre uniform for the rest of the season. He's about 33, and his career might be getting a second wind. Consider bring Omar Vizquel over too if Cabrera isn't going to bounce back soon. Their combined salaries are < 2 mil.
Ryan Braun for Latos + prospects If we actually had the payroll the Brew crew could be taken advantage of right now...We could have had Randy Wynn for chump change...and Jermaine Dye has been available forever...
Come to think of it, I think the Padres will have a smaller payroll than they have today come Aug. The FO in SD has not made winning a priority for over 10 years. Sad.
twinsfan is hardly representative of the general SOSD board consensus opinions.
He's generally full of fail.

I'd have to get a new Ryan Braun shirt. **** that.

Anyone watching the Dodgers yankees? - SignOnSanDiego Forums
Flame on, assholes. The bigger the rise, the bigger the fall. Cannot wait for you guys over there to hold two mass suicides in the same calendar year. Which Padre will channel Nate Kaeding come October?
Great, the only major move Jed Hoyer has made in his time as GM is add Jon Garland to the rotation and the fans all want to suck Jed's dick already. Pathetic.
He signed Yorvit as well.

That's cute that you believe Mannion the Minnion ever mattered to the Dodgers and so much so that this news makes you feel better about your team's implosion. This should go well:
Quote:
Owner Frank McCourt will resume overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Dodgers, as the club has severed ties with President Dennis Mannion.
It's little things like this that make me feel better about being a Padres fan
the demise of the Dodgers is always comforting.
