Well Providence A's, what did you think?

I thought it was overly cheesy, too much "stuff" in 90 minutes or so. And then with all the flashbacks intertwined throughout the movie, meh. Loved Joseph Gordon-Levitt as the Doctor/aka Cobra Commander though, even with the sucky mask at the end. Nice little open ending with Zartan but I'm not sure this is a movie that makes big bucks, enough to warrant sequels. I could be wrong. But it cost a bunch to make it.

Oh, and don't you think DirtyKash likes little boys that look like Heath Bell?

I think it made twice as much as I would have expected it to make this weekend. Guess we can expect more in the franchise now.

yea, I read that they have green-lighted a sequel. they had a trilogy in mind when they started (duh, just like TF).

we saw it last night. I liked it more than I thought I would despite stuff they changed and other stuff they added. Some of the stuff they added didn't seem necessary to me. practically all action, which was probably by design to distract you from the acting.

"Acting" ...Channing Tatum's acting consisted of shifting his facial expressions around once in awhile. Could they have not gotten a worse actor for Duke? LOL

he and Miller deserved each other then. I wonder if Brendan Fraser was high during his cameo. He seems to be high a lot...or on something at least.

it is what it is I suppose. no one is going to win any positive awards. it was fun. I guess it's still up in the air as far as if a 2nd movie will be made. hopefully, they'll have a new director and replace Miller (since she keeps talking shit about the role and the movie anyway).

tatum was by far the worst of the bunch. wooden is about the best you can say for it. Miller was nice to look at, and so was nichols.

outside of that, it was a decent enough action movie. not the worst out there, certainly not the best.
