The thing about these lists is that it's so opinionated and subjective, you can never get it completely right but this one is half decent. I was extremely impressed with the hip-hop albums that made the list.

Hallelujah is one of my favorite songs of all time. One of the best songs of our era.

What a bunch of CRAP albums populating this list...

Of the whole list I would only include the following

    Pearl Jam - Ten
    Soundgarden - Superunknown
    Metallica - Master of Puppets
Guns and Roses - Appetite For Destruction

That is it, period... 3 of 100.... where is Pink Floyd's Momentary Lapse of Reason or Division Bell? Where is Red Hot Chili Peppers' Blood Sugar Sex Magik? Where is Alice In Chains's Dirt?

It jumpstarted a bunch of crappy bands to make horrible pop-punk.

    That alone makes it condemnable.

Haha....I like Green Day, but its so true, where do you think we get Simple Plan and that crap.

Sorry, mate. Green Day is not too blame for Emo's horrendous emergence. It's little girl music. Old Green Day is not to blame.

Old Green Day is indeed to blame; it inspired all of these junk bands like Good Charlotte and Simple Plan and Fallout Boys and blahblahblah so many crap bands. They didn't give them their whiny fake-emo element, but they certainly were what originally gave them hope to make it into the biz.

    Old Green Day=good.

Those shitty bands you listed=crap. And I agree with what you said.

    old green day=best.

    i'm talking pre-dookie

    dookie was good too.

but anywho imediatly when i look at these lists i look for pink floyd.

    none.

nirvana is sooo overrated. the only reason people get it is because of the teen angst ridden kids who want to end it all OD'ing on tylenol
i'm scraped and sober but there's no one listening

Yeah, personally, I think Nirvana's crap. Not too many share that opinion.
