I know it's about attempted suicide but I'm a huge fan if lyrics and the way the chorus is written is amazing. "A brief bout with a razorblade cut me" shows a struggle with it. "I freaked out thinking people didn't love me" the main reason people attempt suicide.

I've never really been a big fan of acoustic versions of hard rock songs.

It still carries the good tune that I like, though. It's not bad as far as slow acoustic renditions go but it's really not what I love about the song.
