Ahhhhh.....
Aerosmith
A band that has gone thru SO many stages...
A very underrated band in their early years... clear up until "Toys in the Attic" they were a pretty underrated band.. when drugs took hold (along with the in-fighting), they started going down hill QUICK... 'Rocks' and 'Draw the Line' completely sucked and it looked like a band with so much potential was pretty much done.... and it just got worse for a few more years following that
The one thing to ever thank Run DMC for is the return of Aerosmith.. from 87 thru about 93 they were back and as good as ever... and then they went thru some more changes in style... really getting artsy fartsy, whimpy, etc..... now granted, they are STILL a great live show, but their albums have really not been worth a purchase since 'Get a Grip'... supposedly they are back to basics on the new album coming out, but that will have to be seen... I personally think the days of their great albums are done... but if you do get a chance to see them perform (even with Tyler looking more like Joan Rivers every day), it is worth the price of admission

The top 3 are rock solid to me and #4 and 5 will always make the list. But the rest can change from time to time but I'm sure that for the most part that is true for all of us and our favorite bands. I think it'd be cool to find everywhere I've made lists like that and see how it changes from time to time.
Looks like I'm way late into this conversation, but I'm sitting here in a hotel outside Indianapolis and I'm kind of bored, so here goes...
Journey
10. Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)
9. Ask the Lonely
8. Be Good to Yourself
7. Girl Can't Help It
6. Send Her My Love
5. Wheel in the Sky
4. Stone in Love
3. Faithfully
2. Lights
1. Don't Stop Believin'
After the first three, it's a total crap shoot between 4-15 or so. Journey is so good. Steve Perry's lead vocals are as good as it gets, Neal Schon is a great guitarist, and the overall sound of the band is fantastic. Journey is one of the few bands I could listen to everyday and not get tired of.
Van Halen
10. Dreams
9. Panama
8. Right Now
7. Beautiful Girls
6. Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love
5. Jump
4. Love Walks In
3. Can't Stop Loving You
2. Dance the Night Away
1. Top of the World
This one was pretty tough too. I love both the sounds of David Lee Roth and Sammy Hagar. Van Halen has more quality songs with DLR, but many of my top favorites are with Sammy singing lead. The fact that songs like "Runnin' With the Devil", "You Really Got Me", and "Unchained" didn't even make the cut shows the depth of Van Halen as a band, when taken with both lead singers.
Kenny Chesney
10. Keg in the Closet
9. Never Gonna Feel Like That Again
8. Living in Fast Forward
7. Summertime
6. What I Need To Do
5. I Go Back
4. Please Come to Boston
3. Anything But Mine
2. The Road and the Radio
1. Beer in Mexico
Kenny Chesney has that great talent of reading your mind and then singing about it. Nearly every one of his songs from every album is of very high quality. There are another 15 songs that are right there with these.
Billy Joel
10. Tell Her About It
9. Leningrad
8. Honesty
7. Uptown Girl
6. Piano Man
5. Angry Young Man
4. Only the Good Die Young
3. The Downeaster Alexa
2. Miami 2017
1. Allentown
Yeah, Billy Joel, I know...
Goo Goo Dolls
10. Here is Gone
9. Iris
8. Become
7. Stay With You
6. Without You Here
5. Better Days
4. Can't Let it Go
3. Sympathy
2. Slide
1. Name
Next 5
Boston
Alabama
U2
Brad Paisley
The Who
Name is my favorite GGD song, too. That song rules.

4. When the Music Stops
5. Superman

8. Hallie's Song
9. Mockingbird
10. Lose Yourself

I might make three more lists for my #6,7, and 8 bands..
