Good job by Syracuse, they are off to a good start. I'm not sold on Florida or Kansas but they are both still really good wins and a great start for Syracuse who, hopefully, won't be sweating come selection Sunday b/c of wins like these.

Undeserved? I'm sorry but someone clearly wasn't watching the Maui Tournament, we also made something called the NCAA tournament last year, I know its been awhile at Syracuse so you might have forgotten so let me refresh your memory, its the tournament where the Top 65 teams go to compete for a National Championship. We also finished in the top 4 of the Big East last year, and in the preseason we were ranked the 4th highest of the Big East teams, so tell me how that is an undeserved ranking

I don't care who they lost, beating the last 2 national champions in 2 days is impressive. Especially when they're ranked.

I think nyjunc hit it on the button. This team is coming off a couple seasons of not having made the tournament, and these 2 wins are huge for them.

As for the uniforms....they're a lot nicer when you can see the whole thing. Their orange jerseys are better though.

Yeah, you made the tournament, where you went and lost in the 2nd round. Your team is good, but the National Media gives Notre Dame more credit for everything, just because they're Notre Dame. You act like your team is godly, when in reality they have proven nothing. You beat George Mason in the 1st round last year. So what? Hell, ask any Big East Coach, ask Dick Vitale, ask any analyst with a brain, and they'll tell you that Cuse will be right up there in the top 4-6 of the Big East at the end of the year.

I am sorry but I had to laugh at this one. Since when did the media start praising Notre Dame for their basketball team?? Syracuse beat the #23 team in the country. Yes they are defending champs but they aren't even close to the team they were last year. It was a good win but don;t act all high and mighty. I am just here to knock you guys back down to earth. Plus if you aren't talking Louisville basketball then who cares?

I never said Notre Dame was highly praised, but they are given more credit and are more talked about than they deserve and than other programs because the university as a whole has a storied athletic history. Notre Dame won ONE game in the NCAA tourney last year, and then lost to Washington State, and that makes them so much better than everyone else. Honestly, I like the fact that you're all underrating Syracuse....it'll make it that much sweeter when we prove you wrong.
