Cashman was at Foley’s NY on West 33rd Street to take part in a promotional event for MLB Front Office Manager, a video game from 2K Sports.
I’m not a gamer but the concept and graphics looked pretty cool. It’s like a fantasy team x 10. You build a team, you make all the moves a GM would make and you run through the season from the start of spring training. You even hire a staff and develop a scouting philosophy. At one point Hank Steinbrenner shows up with a cigarette and tells your plans to the other teams.
OK, that part I made up. It’s not that realistic.

pssh its OOTP for the 360, online mode would be like our leagues lol

saw this before...apparently, Beane was involved with the game:

And it's definitely a more advanced OOTP from what I've read, but then again I've never played anything above 6.5 so it may be similar to the newer versions...in fact, I'm sure it probably is.
