Obviously, you get a porno. Kevin Smith directs the new raunchy comedy, blending his regulars with Judd Apatow's regulars. This seems like a golden idea. But Smith's last two main stream flicks tanked.
Others:
Guy Ritchie totes out a gangster flick, RocknRolla with Jeremy Piven, Ludacris, Gerard Butler, and Mark Strong, amongst others. One might confuse this with Smokin' Aces, without Alicia Keys.
Someone figured out that it's a decent gamble to release a horror film on Halloween, gosh, what a strange concept. Unfortunately, it's only the Haunting of Molly Hartley, starring people I've never heard of.
Finally, Clint Eastwood's The Changeling starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich expands nationwide. While it might be Eastwood and Jolie, it's not really generated a buzz. But who knows? The trailers have looked boring.
Whatever RocknRolla and The Changeling made in select cities the week before will not count towards this weekend.
