What exactly was sad about The Departed?
The end of Up Close and Personal was sad and tragic and the scene in Blow when George is trapped in prison talking to his dying father through a tape recorder was a sad one. Those two came to mind.
I'd say you have no taste in movies, except you agreed with me on the Departed.
