***The Official New Rap Songs Thread***

I'm so out of the loop with most new music that I gave up. Now that I have four kids my time to actually listen is limited. There is some "must have" albums for me coming out this year or early next year including two from Public Enemy and one by The Roots. That Common album is very good thoug it got KO'd by a live PE one I got. I'll have to try and check out some tracks mentioned here if I can get my music downloading going again. Here's a couple of songs to look for.

As for certain posters who are ignorant, let them be. They obviously have no idea what they are talking about and only come off dumb when they try otherwise. If they can't respect us then they don't deserve respect back. Like KRS said back in 88, Hip Hop rules and they can't take it.

Actually they have two due out. One is scheduled for release in August and is produced by Paris. If any of you young Hip Hop cats know who he is then I'm really impressed. Actually this is more of a Chuck D/Paris collab, but should be very good knowing the track record of both. The regular PE album got delayed and is now slated for November. I recommend the MKLVFKWR Revolverlution Tour DVD once it comes out. The whole show is amazing and it comes with a CD as well.

Little Brother - Lovin' It

It's the first single from their upcoming album, The Minstrel Show, which comes out later that year. If you are into the conscious rap scene, I would reccomend their last album, The Listening.
