    Man! these guys are swiming in cash, the cost of the new Yankee Stadium is of 1,3 billion dollars, common! that is a little absurd...

    Building costs in New York are artificially high. The Mob has to take their cut.
    Seriously, the Yankees need a "showcase" for their home games. They simply cannot play in a 2nd class ballpark. Is this going to be publically or privately financed -- or is it a blend of both sources of financing?
